Success in the entertainment industry from your back yard!

Australians have long been pioneers in the entertainment industry. While this is no mystery, aspiring young individuals are now achieving international acclaim and success without even leaving the country.

Traditionally, international success could only be found in Europe or the U.S. Today, the world turns to our local resources and expertise. Being new found leaders in the various fields, Australians are receiving international recognition and respect in music, acting, film and computer animation.

Till now, professional training in the entertainment industry has been some what hard to come by. This has led to a large amount of risk in entering the industry itself. Thanks to programs on offer at institutions such as the College of Creative Arts & Technology (CCAT), this risk has been heavily minimised through the use of vocational programs. Through hands-on training and job placements, well-established and respected industry professionals open all the right doors for students.

The creative arts has always been about the quality of the product and never the qualification. This is why it is important to gain practical skills and experience as well as a qualification. The Herald Sun Melbourne Career Expo, in conjunction with CCAT, are conducting a series of free interactive workshops for attendees.  This rare opportunity offers participants an insight into the latest technology and techniques in the film, audio, digital animation and music industries.
