The design practice behind the transformation of the building is Melbourne practice Gray Puksand. Lead architect Kelly Wellington used space intelligently to integrate the students of LCI Melbourne’s six design disciplines: Communication Design, Fashion & Costume Design, Filmmaking & Photog- raphy, Graphic & Digital Design, Interior Design and Visual Arts. “This connectivity is about more than showing off the unique building – it’s also essential in creating an environment that inspires creativity and collaboration for students in their day-to-day learning,” Ms Wellington said.
