V FA educators specialise in delivering courses in fitness and sport, mas- sage therapy and early child- hood education and care. They believe access to good academic and personal sup- port is vital to the success of students. An in-house wellness and assistance program pro- vides the tools students need to realise their career ambitions, whether they recently complet- ed VCE or VCAL or haven’t studied in years. Students also enjoy smaller class sizes, flexible timetables and a personalised learning experience which many larger training providers lack. VFA have established path- ways to Deakin and Federation Universities for diploma graduates. These are available to those wishing to enter a degree qualification in sport and exercise science, early childhood education and care, education (primary) or arts with Deakin University and health science or sports management with Federation University. These options allow stu- dents to work, network and achieve valuable industry experience, increasing employability and giving them the perfect platform to launch their career. Students completing years 11 and 12 can study certificate III courses as school based apprenticeships. These are offered in the fields of allied health, education support, aquatics, community recrea- tion and early childhood edu- cation and care. Diploma courses in early childhood education and care, massage therapy and sports development, including foun- dations and certificate IV in fitness, are available to school leavers and the general public.
